2010 Spring Training

Partner Software is offering Spring Training, including classes taught by several Partner technicians, Mike Bellrose of Tri-Global Technologies, and Dave Grayson from Acculine Consulting.

Hotel Accommodations

The following hotels have given us group rates, but reservations must be made by February 14, 2010.

• The Classic City Hilton Garden Inn: Call 706-353-6800 or 1-800-HILTONS and give the group code “PTS” and the dates of your stay. The dates for our group rate are March 7-11, 2010. A Standard King or Standard Queen room is $124 plus 14% sales tax. There is an $8/car/day parking fee.
• Holiday Inn: Call 706-549-4433 or 1-800-HOLIDAY and use the code "PTS" when making your reservation. The rate for a Deluxe King room is $104 plus 14% sales tax.
• Holiday Inn Express: Call 706-546-8122 or 1-800-HOLIDAY and use the group code “PTS” when making your reservation. The rate for these rooms is $89 plus 14% sales tax.

Linn County Technology Showcase

The Linn County Technology Showcase will be held at Linn County REC in Marion, IA on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Kevin Stucker and Linn County personnel will present Partner Field Design, Partner Field Inspection, Milsoft OMS, Mobile Staker, Mobile Inspection, and other presentations pertinent to any utility that is planning to automate its workforce and/or integrate its existing systems. In addition, Partner Software, Milsoft Utility Solutions, and Tri-Global Technologies will be available to answer questions.

Partner Software

Partner Field Design System: An automated design tool that simplifies the staking process. In use since 1997, it allows the staking crews to efficiently view power distribution maps, create staking sketches and retrieve any additional information needed to complete the staking job.

Partner Field Inspection System: A system that creates a common working environment for every inspection type your utility requires. Features include: a simple and familiar user interface to perform inspections, a common toolset to create inspection modules, and modular systems (new inspection types such as Joint Use or Damage Assessment can be easily added to the system as they are developed) that may be viewed independently or in a complete summary.

Milsoft Utility Solutions

DisSPatch: A complete Outage Management System that provides for quick and efficient management of outages on an electrical distribution system. DisSPatch processes information from customers, crews, and devices to locate and predict problem areas and effectively deals with any level of system outage, from the routine transformer outage to emergency storm situations.

PORCHE IVR: The computer and telephony hardware and software required to provide a utility with an automatic call handling solution. PORCHE IVR provides an interface to capture customer call information for use by the utility's computer systems. The only IVR with voice recognition as a standard feature, which is faster and easier to use because customers can simply speak their responses rather than using their phone touch pads to input information.

Tri-Global Technologies

Mobile Utility Suite: A mobile solution for Partner Field Design and Field Inspection that can be run on a high-accuracy Tremble mobile device. Additionally, it is designed on Pathfinder Tools to support the entire Trimble® Mapping and GIS product line along with post-processing and Virtual Reference Station support.
